Compilación 4.8 de KDE Software oficialmente lanzada
KDE e.V y los desarrolladores detrás del proyecto KDE han anunciado con orgullo, la versión final y estable de la muy esperada compilación de KDE Software 4.8.
Después de seis meses de duro trabajo, la Compilación 4.8 de KDE Software ya está aquí, con nuevas e interesantes características, varias actualizaciones de software, y un montón de mejoras en el rendimiento. Esta compilación de KDE está compuesta por el espacio de trabajo KDE Plasma, las aplicaciones de KDE y la Plataforma de Desarrollo KDE.

· Lokalize has better support for XLIFF (XML Localisation Interchange File Format) translation catalogs and TBX (TermBase eXchange) glossaries;
· Marble is now integrated with Plasma’s KRunner;
· QtQuick was integrated in Plasma Workspaces allowing developers to easily port widget to QML;
· New Plasma QtQuick components provides standardized user interface elements;
· KDE Telepathy enters KDE Extragear.
